Oz Comic Con 2015
In April 2015 we were at Oz Comic Con with our stall. This was our first time at this event and we had a great time! We ran a Craftiflex Give-away and our lucky winner was Shannon! Thanks to all who entered! It was also my first time entering a cosplay competition. Oz Comic Con Cosplay Championships is new to Australia and the winner from each city goes on to compete nationally and then perhaps to the USA. I was pleased to win my Fantasy category in the Championships. A huge congratulations goes to Sophia who won the Perth round with her awesome Space Pope from Futurama! Oz Comic Con Perth

Mask Making Workshops in 2015 – Coming in June
Would you like to learn how to make a complex mask that fits you perfectly? With a jaw that moves when you talk? Perhaps you need a full head mask for a cosplay costume?
With both demonstration of steps and hands-on experience, learn to create a Craftiflex mask similar to the Wolf pictured, with the use of Craftiflex, Tex and faux fur.
It is suggested that you have the skills and knowledge of working with Craftiflex covered in the Basic Craftiflex Armouring Workshop.
If you have particular ideas of what kind of mask you’d like to create, please bring along pictures.
Please bring a heat gun if you have one (this will allow you to learn how your own gun works with Craftiflex). If you have specific fur or fabric you wish to use, bring it along, as well as a hot glue gun (and glue) if you have one.
Cost: $80. There is a booking fee of $3 via Paypal.
Materials supplied include: ‘Grand’ sheet of Craftiflex (40x50cm), baking paper, alfoil, clingwrap, masking tape, paper, elastic. Faux fur will be demonstrated. If you bring your own fur, you are welcome to follow along and glue it to your mask.
